Why they might be annoying:

Each of their first four albums was released by a different record label.
Their debut album featured 14 songs in 15 minutes.
Their fifth album was called 'VI.'
They broke up twice over Hetson's decision to concentrate on working with his other band, Bad Religion.
They released a new song through their MySpace page (2007), but work on an album was reportedly held up inidefinitely by a songwriting dispute between Hetson and Morris.

Why they might not be annoying:

They appeared in the cult classic 'Repo Man' and contributed two songs to the soundtrack.
Several bands performed at benefits for Morris when he was diagnosed with diabetes (1999).
Latter day punks who cite them as an influence include the Offspring, Anti-Flag and Dropkick Murphys.
In a case of strange musical bedfellows, Deborah Gibson sang backing vocals on their cover of 'I Wanna Destroy You' and appeared at their performance at punk club CBGBs (1995).
