Why he might be annoying:

He was known for hanging out in nightclubs, banging starlets, and crashing expensive automobiles.
When he was 20, he had an affair with Bella Darvi, who was 35.
He divorced actress Daniele Gaubert.
He played polo with his brother and former brother-in-law as his father was assassinated.

Why he might not be annoying:

His name was taken from the Verdi opera 'Aida.'
Two of his father's illegitimate children sued him and he was forced to pay them millions.
Daniele received hefty alimony and went on to wed Jean-Claude Killy.
It is presumed he was killed amid rumors he worked for both the Drug Enforcement Administration and Colombian drug cartel.
