The Resume

    (October 4, 1973- )
Born in Salt Lake City, Utah
    Birth name is Jennifer Lui
Regular on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City (2020-22)
Pleaded guilty to a conspiracy criminal charge (July 2022)
Sentenced to six-and-a-half years in prison (January 2023)

Why she might be annoying:

She was known for fronting (i.e. flaunting her wealth) on social media.
The bulk of her wealth came from ripping off hundreds of victims in a telemarketing scam.
Her scheme operated in six states (including New York, New Jersey, and Nevada).
She sold bogus business services, like website services, to elderly clients (some of whom didn’t even own computers).
She regularly gaslit viewers and fellow ‘Real Housewives’ contestants about her innocence.
She was criminally charged with conspiracy to commit money laundering and wire fraud (March 2021).
When she was initially charged, she didn’t take the case seriously, and had to stop hawking ‘Justice for Jen’ merchandise on her website, after she was found guilty.
She tried to talk the judge into letting her repay all of the victims she defrauded.
When the judge interrupted to ask ‘how?’ she answered that she would use her platform to raise money and turn over future royalties from future Real Housewives episodes (facepalm).

Why she might not be annoying:

She is of Tongan and Hawaiian descent.
She met husband Sharrieff Shah when they were students together at the University of Utah (he would later become coach to the University's Utes football team).
More than fifty of her confiscated luxury brand items were revealed to be fake or counterfeit.
Federal prosecutors brought up that she was cheating on Coach Shah and contacted the wife of the man she was cheating with in court (what is this, Maury?).
She got her way in getting sent to a minimum security prison in Bryan, Texas.
