Discovered on the Cheyenne River Sioux Indian Reservation, South Dakota, by Sue Hendrickson (August 12, 1990)
Largest/most complete/best preserved T. Rex skeleton discovered
Currently at The Field Museum in Chicago (unveiled May 17, 2000)

Why she might be annoying:

There was a dispute at to who rightfully owned Sue. A judge rule the owner of the land she was founded on.
She was sold at Sotheby's auction for almost $8.4 million – the most ever paid for a fossil (October 4, 1997).
Although the dinosaur is named Sue, honoring her finder, the gender is not known.
Her skull was too heavy to be placed on her skeleton, so a light weight mock up was used. Her real skull is on display in a separate exhibit.
Computer-generated replicas replace her missing left arm, foot and rib sections.

Why she might not be annoying:

She is an important scientific find, her skeleton is over 90% complete.
Museum workers earned overtime pay spending 25,000 hours preparing the bones.
The degeneration on her bones shows she lived a long life.
She is a popular Chicago tourist attraction.
