They are geeks.
They look like geeks.
They are only a year apart from each other.
'The Matrix' is a result of their enormous obsession toward Japanese anime.
Like the Cohen Brothers, they finish each other's sentences.
Their use of the 'bullet time' effect in 'The Matrix' created a huge debate on when, where, how and who it was actually created by.

Why they might not be annoying:

'The Matrix' gave a whole new meaning to a sci fi genre.
They got their big break after making their second feature movie.
They write and direct their own movies.
They released two 'Matrix' sequels in the same year. This is the first time after director, Robert Zemeckies, released two 'Back to the Future' sequels simultaneously in the early 90's.
