Why he might be annoying:

    After making Disney Animations a success, Michael Eisner, got rid of him.
    He and Michael Eisner do not like each other.
    Some of his Disney clinkers include 'Super Mario Bros.,' 'Guilty as Sin,' 'Life With Mikey' and 'My Boyfriend's Back,'
    He reportedly made 150 phone calls daily as chairman of Disney Studios (Entertainment Weekly).
    His workers have said he is obsessive and meddling (but in a good way).
    DreamWorks SKG being privately owned, keeps their financial picture a secret.
    His 'The Road to El Dorado' was a huge flop.
    He asked investor Paul Allen, who owns almost 1/4 of DreamWorks SKG, for a billion-dollar credit line.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He is the K in DreamWorks SKG.
    He is credited with talking Leonard Nimoy into returning to the role of Spock for the first Star Trek Movie.
    In 1984, it became his job to make Disney an animation giant again. He said: 'I believed in the job I was given to return Disney animation to its heritage and, as I have always said, it wasn't that onerous or impossible an assignment.'
    Liz Braun of the Toronto Sun reported about his time at Disney that he 'guided the studio, some say, from the millions to the billions.'
    Many of the Disney staff were so loyal to him, that when he left Disney and started DreamWorks SKG, they came along.
    In 1990, Entertainment Weekly said he had 'taken Disney from the bottom of the heap to the top.'
    Some of his Disney hits include 'The Hand That Rocks the Cradle,' 'Sister Act,' 'Beauty and the Beast,' 'Lion King' and 'Aladdin.'
    Within two weeks of leaving Disney, he helped form DreamWorks SKG (1994).
    His animated features for DreamWorks SKG compete successfully with Disney and Pixar.
    He cast Robert DeNiro, Peter Falk, Brad Pitt, Julie Andrews, John Cleese, Rupert Everett, Antonio Banderas, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Joseph Fiennes, Michelle Pfeiffer, Dennis Haysbert, Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Renee Zellweger, Will Smith and Martin Scorsese to provide voices for his animations.
    DreamWorks SKG is the first major Hollywood studio in sixty years.
    He hired Brenda Chapman, the first female director of a full length animation.
    Some of his DreamWorks SKG hits include 'Prince of Egypt,' 'Antz' and 'Shrek.'
    He was selected one of the most intriguing people of 1994 by People Magazine.
    Premiere magazine and Entertainment Weekly selected him as one of the top 30 most influential/powerful people in Entertainment, just about every year in the 90's.
    He enjoys eating at Morton's Steak House.
