Mayor

The Resume

    (June 29, 1957- )
    Born in Philadephia, Pennsylvania
    Middle name is Anthony
    Mayor of Philadelphia (January 7, 2008 – January 4, 2016)
    Represented Philadelphia's 4th district in the City Council (January 7, 1992 – July 7, 2006)
    Democrat

Why he might be annoying:

His nickname as a kid was 'Big Nut.'
He defended the use of stop-and-frisk.
He is famously foul mouthed, known for lines like 'It takes a complete asshole to do these kinds of things' and 'That was a completely dumbass idea from the start!'
He ran on eliminating city corruption, but his cabinet saw multiple scandals ranging from misuse of taxpayer funds to pay-to-play accusations.
When outrage over the school closures boiled over, he told critics to 'grow up and deal with it.'
When President Obama stumped for Governor Tom Wolfe in Philadelphia, the crowd repeatedly booed when Nutter showed up onstage.
He endorsed - and campaigned as a surrogate for - Michael Bloomberg's doomed 2020 Presidential bid.

Why he might not be annoying:

He worked as a disc jockey in college.
He is the third African-American to be elected Mayor of Philadelphia.
He cracked down on Philadelphia crime and reformed the city’s finances.
He was seen as a top prospect for potential HUD or Transportation department positions for the Hillary Clinton administration after he endorsed her in 2016 (spoiler alert: she didn't win!)
After Clinton's loss, a 'Ghost Cabinet' list of names for cabinet spots was released - and Nutter's name wasn't on it (joke's on her!)
He enjoyed a brief stint as a CNN contributor after leaving the Mayor's office, but the network didn't renew his contract.
