    Drafted third overall by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 1995 NBA Draft
    Shooting guard/Small forward for the Philadelphia 76ers (1995–98), Detroit Pistons (1998–2002), Washington Wizards (2002–04), Dallas Mavericks (2004–09), Milwaukee Bucks (2010), Miami Heat (2010), Atlanta Hawks (2011–12 ) and the Brooklyn Nets

Why he might be annoying:

    He was called 'The Next Michael Jordan' by college basketball pundits.
    He decided to forgo his college eligibility and turn pro after his second season at UNC.
    Despite being considered one of the cornerstones in the Sixers rebuilding process, he was traded to Detroit after two years.
    He became a journeyman player after leaving the Mavericks.
    He experimented with being a vegetarian, before deciding to eat meat again.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He wears #42 in honor of Jackie Robinson.
    Despite forgoing his college eligibility to pursue an NBA career, he returned to UNC in the off-seasons to finish his degree in African-American studies.
    He served as a reliable sixth man during the later stages of his career.
    He is the first athlete since Robinson to wear #42 for a Brooklyn franchise.
