Why he might not be annoying:

    His first acting role was on 'Happy Days', in which he was able to play three different characters.
    He is the brother of actor Michael Lerner and the father of actor Sam Lerner and actress Jenny Lerner.
    His decision to initially decline the guest spot on 'Friends' was due to the fact he didn't want to miss his daughter's high school play, but accepted after the two parties were able to work out a reasonable filming schedule.
    He works as both an acting and a presentation coach on the side.
