Wrestler

The Resume

    (September 17, 1961- )
Managed in the WWE, WCW, NWA and SMW
Owner and operator the defunct Smoky Mountain Wrestling
Head trainer and booker of Ohio Valley Wrestling

Why he might be annoying:

He was known for wearing hideous apparel.
He had the nickname 'The Prince of Polyester,' in reference to his fabric of choice.
He always carried a tennis racket that he'd use during matches.
He has a loud squeaky voice.
His career as a wrestler ended after he injured himself during a scaffold match.
His promotion, Smoky Mountain Wrestling, though successful and possessing some great wrestlers and matches, was one of the many victims of the WWF's national expansion and folded in the mid-90's.
He's one of many promoters to close his business and work for Vince McMahon.
Since his injury, he's wrestled in matches that were mostly meant for comedic purposes and he would usually get his ass kicked.

Why he might not be annoying:

Although wrestling has changed drastically since he debuted, he still remains loyal to the traditional wrestling he grew up with and teaches that to his students.
He managed the Midnight Express and made them one of the greatest tag teams of all-time and the stable was dominant for much of the 80's.
He was great on the microphone and he has one of the all-time great wrestling quotes: 'I can beat anyone, either male, female, animal, vegetable, or mineral.'
He has a knack for talent and as head trainer of Ohio Valley Wrestling, he trains young wrestlers who can very well be big stars some day and some of his former students include Brock Lesnar, Randy Orton, John Cena, Victoria, Matt Morgan, Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin.
He's opinionated and he's one of the biggest critics of columnist Phil Mushnick and trashes him for bad mouthing a sport he knows nothing about.
He was named Manager of the Year in PWI in 1985, 1993 and 1995.
    He's ranked #79 on Total Wrestling Magazine's 100 Greatest Heels of All-Time.
He's in the Wrestling-Observer Hall of Fame.
