The Resume

    (1960- )
    Born in Texas
Dallas Cowboys Senior Vice President for public relations and communications
Revealed as the central figure of a long-closeted $2.4 million settlement (February 2022)
Appeared Regularly on 'A Football Life' (NFL Network)

Why he might be annoying:

His last name is tough to spell let alone pronounce.
A significant part of his job was to navigate Cowboys players, coaches and owners through the public minefields such as Jerry Jones' comments on the Greg Hardy domestic violence scandal.
The Cowboys were revealed to have paid $2.4 million to four cheerleaders after he was discovered to have secretly recorded them undressing in the locker room in 2015.
He allegedly told team officials he did not know the women were there and left immediately (side eye).
He was also accused of taking inappropriate upskirt photos of Charlotte Jones Anderson, the team's senior vice president and daughter of owner Jerry Jones.
He retired the same month that the settlement was revealed and issued a statement to ESPN denying the allegations.
Although he had already retired by this time, many felt that the Cowboys franchise's silence on the issue spoke volumes given the nature of the allegations.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was one of the NFL’s most respected, effective and visible club executives since the Cowboys’ championship run in the ‘90s.
He made cameos on The League and HBO's Entourage.
He spent thirty years cleaning up after Jerry Jones' public relations foibles.
He played college football for Westminster College, where he still ranks on the school’s top 20 all-time list for career passing yards.
He worked with Jimmy Johnson coaching the University of Miami Hurricanes.
When Johnson left Miami in 1989 to become head coach of the Cowboys, he brought Rich with him to serve in the team's New York public relations office.
A team spokesman said the Cowboys investigated and found no wrongdoing by Dalrymple and no evidence that he took photos or video of the women.
