    Born in United Kingdom
    Tabby owned by Darryl and Stephanie Mann of Coventry, England
    Went missing for several hours and was eventually found in a covered trash bin, very frightened but otherwise unharmed
    Security footage showed a middle aged woman dropping her into the bin
    Became internationally famous when owners uploaded footage onto YouTube in an attempt to identify her abuser (revealed to be Mary Bale, a 45 year old banker)

Why he might be annoying:

    She is an outdoor cat.
    Her story drew more outrage than many cases of abused humans.
    Her owners initially blamed local youths for dropping her in the bin.
    Mary Bale received several grisly death threats and had to be given police protection.

Why he might not be annoying:

    Her story captured the sympathy of 1000s worldwide.
    She approached Bale in a friendly manner, who bizarrely stroked her before dropping her in the trash.
    She is a rescue cat who has had already had a rough life.
    Bale apologized but said she didn’t know why people were making so much fuss over a cat.
    Her owners have asked the public to leave Bale alone and let the authorities handle the case.
