Why he might be annoying:

He fired Norm MacDonald from his 'Weekend Update' spot on SNL and later dismissed him from the show.
He claims to have fired Norm for not being funny, but many insiders felt that the real reason he fired him was because he made constant jokes about Ohlmeyer's friend, OJ Simpson.
In 1999, he was producer of ABC's Monday Night Football, despite having an executive level position at NBC.

Why he might not be annoying:

He graduated from Notre Dame
As president, he moved NBC from 3rd to 1st place in ratings and made it the only one of six broadcasting networks to be profitable.
He formed the Ohlmeyer Communication Company in 1982.
