Featured Tiger in the Siegfried and Roy show
Famous for injuring Roy Horn ending the Siegfried and Roy show permanently

He single-pawedly brought a long running successful Vegas show to an end; costing many people there jobs.
Because of his actions, his master has to endure hours of painful physical therapy.
His part in the show involved Roy saying it was his first appearances, yet he's been doing that same bit for years.
The press constantly misspells his name. They spell it MONTECORE yet his name is spelled MANTACORE im the Siegfried and Roy show credits.

Despite the bad press, people close to Roy say he was trying to help Roy to his feet after Roy fell due to a small stroke.
Roy's first request after the incident was that Mantacore not be harmed.
Roy has completely forgiven him and still considers him to be his favorite animal.
Roy jokingly refers to him as the world's most famous tiger (I wonder what Tony the Tiger would say).
He currently lives in the Secret Garden at the Mirage.
His name has been changed to protect his anonymity.
His mother rejected him as a cub and Roy had to give him special intention.
He most likely meant no harm to Roy. If he wanted him dead it would have taken him only a second.
He entertained millions.
