He is in his mid-thirties but could pass for a teen.
He was criticized by Slate for working as a consultant for candidates for whom he raised money on DailyKos (2004).
After the killings of employees of military contractor BlackwaterUSA, he wrote, 'I feel nothing over the death of mercenaries.... They are there to wage war for profit. Screw them.' (2004)
Bill O'Reilly called DailyKos a 'hate site' and compared it the KKK and the Nazi party.
He said, 'I'm not ideological at all. I'm just all about winning.'
He does not blink.

He served in the US army and called it 'perhaps the ideal society -- we worked hard, but the Army took care of us in return.'
DailyKos attracts 600,000 visits a day.
New Democratic Network president Simon Rosenberg said, 'I don't think there's anyone who has the potential to revolutionize the Democratic Party that Markos does.'
