    Shot and killed his son's kidnapper and molester Jeff Doucet in the Baton Rouge airport (March 16, 1984)
    His shooting his child's molester was caught on live television.
    Upon finding out when his son's kidnapper will arrive at a Baton Rouge airport (Doucet took his victim to California), he waited facing a row of payphones and shot Doucet as police were escorting Doucet through airport.
    At the time of kidnapping, he was separated from his son's mother.
    Footage of the shoot received several million views on YouTube.
    Doucet was molesting his son for almost a full year before the kidnapping.
    He was able to get close enough to Doucet to shoot him at point blank range.
    His killing Doucet led to debate on whether he should go to prison or just be let off.
    He served no prison time and received five years' probation plus community service for the killing.
    He had to deal with his son's kidnapping and the media detailing his son's sexual ordeal.
    He appeared in Michael Moore's film 'Bowling for Columbine.'
    How many parents would be tempted to do what he did if someone molested their child?
    Doucet was his son's karate instructor who used his authority to abuse his victim.
