Why he might be annoying
He was snitched on by his sons when they found out their dad's asset management firm was a Ponzi scheme.
His fraudulent actions victimized many Hollywood entertainers, including Steven Spielberg, Jeffrey Katzenberg, Kevin Bacon & Kyra Sedgwick, Zsa Zsa Gabor and Larry King.
Non-famous victims who have lost their life savings were forced to work beyond retirement.
While a sizable number of his victims lost everything they had, he was placed under house arrest in his multi-million dollar home.
Why he might not be annoying
He married his high school sweetheart Ruth.
He was a philanthropist who donated $6 million to lymphoma research after his son was diagnosed with it.
He also donated to leukemia charities after his nephew died from cancer.
His philanthropic work had him serving on the board of many non profit organizations.
He was powerful and influential enough to be trusted by many Hollywood power players with their funds.
