    He majored in law in college before deciding ‘law was a real bore.’
    Two of his three marriages ended in divorce.
    From the 70s on, he appeared mostly in dubious projects, like the killer rabbit flick ‘The Night of the Lepus,’ the Jim Jones cash-in ‘Guyana: Crime of the Century,’ and the Pia Zadora star vehicle ‘Butterfly.’
    While serving in the Army Corps of Engineers, he also boxed, winning 31 of 32 bouts.
    He had a side career developing real estate, often in partnership with his father; it was successful enough that he noted, ‘I didn’t need to act to make a living, but had a real passion for it.’
    He is worth an estimated $100 million from his real estate investments.
    He was nominated for a Best Actor Oscar for his performance in ‘The Mark.’
