Why Mississauga, Ontario might be annoying:

    It has a high cost of living, which is comparable to that of neighboring Toronto.
    It gained city status after it swallowed up various smaller communities within its region.
    Many local residents call it by their slang term 'Sauga.'
    It is home to the Queen Elizabeth Way, which is considered one of the busiest highways in the country.
    It was the site of a train derailment that caused one of the largest peacetime evacuations in North American history, prior to Hurricane Katrina (1979).
    It was once home to the OHL's Mississauga Ice Dogs, who set futility records in both the OHL and CHL.
    In a complicated transaction, Ottawa Senators owner Eugene Melnyk bought the Ice Dogs to flip them to a group from St. Catharines in order to bring his St. Michael's Majors franchise to play in the city.
    Like neighboring Toronto, it's a smog-ridden city.

Why Mississauga, Ontario might not be annoying:

    It is home to the Lester B. Pearson International Airport, one of the busiest airports in Canada.
    Hazel McCallion served as the city's mayor from 1978 to 2014, giving her the distinction of being the longest-serving mayor of a Canadian city.
    It became the destination spot for many corporations to set up shop from the Montreal area following the election of Réne Levesque.
    It is the second largest city in the Greater Toronto area.
    It established a large multi-cultural population in the latter part of the 20th century.
    It is home to the Square One Shopping Centre, which is considered the largest shopping centre in Eastern Canada.
