    He had a pool in the shape of Mickey Mouse's head in his mansion.
    His remake of 'The Jazz Singer' earned him a Razzie nomination.
    His father was the creator of Betty Boop and Koko the Clown.
    Walt Disney hired him despite being the son of a rival animator.
    His film 'Soylent Green' was a cautionary tale of overpopulation and pollution.
