They are very obese.
A lot of their raps are about food and eating.
They starred in their own movie, 1987's 'Disorderlies.' The film was about three orderlies (the Fat Boys), who are hired to take care of an old rich man.
They were called the 'Three Stooges of Rap.'

Robinson had unique skills as a human 'beat box', in other words, he could make an elaborate array of percussion sounds with his mouth.
Mark Morales has had a successful career as an R&B songwriter and producer since the break up of the Fat Boys.
Their music was unique, it was a mixture of good beats and raps with non-offensive comedy.
