Why he might be annoying
So far, the CIA hasn't been able to capture Osama bin Laden.
His entire career has been spent in non-elected positions, some of them unrelated to intelligence.
He failed to detect Pakistan and India's nuclear programs before they came to fruition.
He was accused of anti-Semitism (though this claim has not been verified).
He has been criticized for faulty intelligence gathering before 9/11 and the Iraq war.
Why he might not be annoying
He defended his intelligence reports and cited numerous facts backing him up.
He is one of the longest-serving DCIs ever.
He supported valuable human intelligence funding, which helped capture numerous high-ranking Al-Qaeda operatives.
He is independent from politics and once threatened to resign because Bill Clinton had promised to pardon an Israeli spy.
Because of his independence, he retained his post after Bush became president (usually DCIs are replaced when the presidency changes hands).
