Why they might be annoying
Their album cover designer misspelled 'odyssey' in 'Odessey and Oracle,' but they kept the mistake in anyway.
They disbanded due to lack of funds.
Several poseur 'Zombies' bands toured in the late 1960's when the real group failed to re-form.
'Time of the Season' had the goofy lyric 'What's your name? Who's your daddy? Is he rich like me?'
Their 2004 album, which only involved Brunstone and Argent, was a critical failure.
Why they might not be annoying
They are considered one of the most underrated bands of the 1960's.
They were one of the first bands to use a Mellotron.
They were known for their sophisticated lush melodies.
They morphed from an R&B-inspired group to one that is synonymous with psychedelic pop.
'Time of the Season' became a huge hit two years after the group disbanded.
