Why she might be annoying:

By seventeen she was a better shot than most men.
In a sharpshooting competition she beat marksman, Frank Butler. They later married (June 20, 1882).
During a Wild West Show, German Crown Prince Kaiser Wilhelm II, asked Annie to shoot his cigarette. She did but someone later quipped if she missed and shot him, she would have prevented World War I.

Her father died when she was six.
She was sent to an orphanage when her mother remarried.
When her mother divorced her second husband and remarried she was able to return home.
She provided food for the family.
She was an expert markswoman.
She was partially paralyzed in a railroad accident (1901).
