During his early years, he kept going back-and-forth between wrestling in Japan and wrestling in the WWF.
He was a fan favorite, yet he never got a shot at a major title, despite frequently teaming with Hulk Hogan.
He moved from ECW to WCW, just to get bigger paychecks.

He is considered one of the best big men in wrestling.
He rushed into a fire to save a group of children who were trapped (2000).
This caused him to get 2nd degree burns on over 40% of his body and gained him respect as a wrestler and a human being.
His WrestleMania XI match against Lawrence Taylor stands as one of the most memorable WrestleMania moments.
