Why she might be annoying
She vehemently supports criminal prosecutions of gay men caught in consensual adult sex.
She compared sex between two men to ‘shoving a straw up your nose to drink.’
Despite this she complains that her critics are bullies.
She is a visiting professor at the New York University School of Law as a human rights professor.
This was done despite the fact that she not only doesn’t believe in gay rights, but actually fights against them.
Why she might not be annoying
Playwright Alfian Sa’at sent her an e-mail saying ‘I hope I outlive you long enough to see the repeal of 377A and on that day I will piss on your grave.’
She claims to have the support of the majority in her country.
She has made numerous other speeches that have not been replayed over and over again.
She condemns any acts of violence or name calling against gay people.
She eventually turned down a job at NYU law school due to massive protest against her appointment.
