    Portrayed Tom Willis on 'The Jeffersons' (1975-85) and 'All In The Family'
    Acted in 'Brian Donors' (1992), 'Wall Street' (1987) and 'The Stepford Wives' (1975)
    He was sometimes credited as 'Frank Cover' or 'Franklin E. Cover' - like it made a difference.
    While he has acted for years, he'll mostly be famous for playing the straight man to George Jefferson's racist jokes.
    He started his career on stage and on Broadway.
    He had numerous guest appearances on several TV shows long after 'The Jeffersons' was cancelled.
    He is not involved in any way with the John W. DeCamp novel, 'The Franklin Cover-Up: Child Abuse, Satanism, and Murder in Nebraska.'
