Why she might be annoying:

She is mannish.
She makes excuses for the worst excesses of the Bush White House.
She claimed she was retiring from Washington to be with her family, only to return to her White House job two years later.
In an interview, she compared abortion-rights supporters to terrorists.
As Undersecretary of State, she put her foot in her mouth several times while visiting the Middle East.
She mistakenly said that the U.S. Constitution refers to ‘one nation under God’ (it’s actually the Pledge of Allegiance).
She reportedly mouths along with President Bush when he delivers her speeches.

Why she might not be annoying:

She is an extremely effective communicator and spin doctor.
She wrote the eloquent speech that President Bush delivered after the September 11th terrorist attacks.
She organized the successful 2004 Republican National Convention.
She is reportedly more ethical than Bush’s other chief adviser, Karl Rove.
She’s been called President Bush’s ‘most essential adviser,’ ‘the most powerful woman ever to serve in the White House’ and ‘the power behind the curtain.’
