The Resume

    (July 10, 1980- )
    Born in Rockdale, Texas
Former clinic director for Planned Parenthood
Resigned (October 6, 2009), claiming to have been disturbed by the image of the fetus while helping to perform an ultrasound-assisted abortion
Founded the anti-abortion ministry And Then There Were None
    Wrote ‘Unplanned’ (2010)
Speaker at the 2020 Republican National Convention

Why she might be annoying:

The clinic she worked at did not perform any ultrasound assisted abortions on the day she claimed to have witnessed the procedure – or for more than a week before and after the date.
The physician performing abortions at the clinic where she worked said she had never been asked to assist at any abortions.
Shortly before she quit Planned Parenthood, she had been disciplined for using work email to exchange sexually explicit messages with a colleague at another clinic, and told friends she was afraid she would be fired.
Friends also said she had been having financial problems and had been offered $3,000 speaking gigs by the Coalition of Life if she converted to pro-life.
The night she quit Planned Parenthood, she made a post on Facebook that had no mention of ultrasound-assisted abortions or her putative moral crisis, but instead complained, ‘[A]fter I have been working my whole big butt off for them and prioritizing that company over my family, my friends and pretty much everything else in my life, they have the nerve to tell me that my job performance is ‘slipping.’’
She advocates changing the electoral system to give each household a single vote; when asked what would happen if a married couple disagreed on who to vote for, she said, ‘In a Godly household, the husband would get the final say.’
Three years before speaking at the RNC to endorse a second term for Donald Trump, she attended the 2017 Women’s March protest against Trump.
She denounced Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger as a racist while endorsing racial profiling by police.
She said police would be ‘smart’ if they were ‘more careful around my brown son than my white son.’

Why she might not be annoying:

She was named the clinic’s employee of the year (2008).
When she worked at Planned Parenthood, she and her family received death threats from pro-lifers.
She said, ‘I don’t believe in punishing women who seek to have abortion services.’
