He had trouble dealing with Howard's abuse when he was getting married (2000).

Why he might not be annoying:

He managed frequent Stern guest Hank 'the Angry' Dwarf and was really shaken by Hank's death.
He volunteered to help the rescuers during the World Trade Center collapse, and was stationed at ground Zero on September 11th (2001).
