    While serving time in a maximum security prison in Georgia, he almost decapitated another prisoner with a shiv (1979).
    He is believed to have ordered at least 14 murders from behind bars.
    He expanded the Aryan Brotherhood’s operations into dealing narcotics.
    He ordered the Aryan Brotherhood to carry out a race war against another prison gang, the DC Blacks (1997).
    He suffered an eye injury during a knife fight in San Quentin Prison.
    An ex-con turned author noted that he ‘rose to the top by putting in serious work.’
    He crocheted in his free time.
