    She change her last name from Fink to Ian at 13 (Ian was her brothers middle name).

    She wanted to change her name to Jasmine Thompson
    She was thrown out of New York's High School of Music & Art in tenth grade after six months.
    Her agents advised her to turn down 'The Graduate,' and she did.
    Despite being a lesbian, she married Tino Sargo (1978) and separated in 1983.
