They were often confused with another female pop trio, 'Sweet Sensation.'
They toured with Milli Vanilli.
Michelle Visage won a Madonna look-a-like contest at 16.
While in Sensation, Visage ripped off many of Madonna's stage acts.
Madonna's management told Visage and the band to stop the impersonations.
'Two to Make it Right' is among the many songs to sample the music of James Brown.
Why they might not be annoying
Three of their songs reached the top 20.
'Two to Make it Right' was a huge dance hit.
After the group's demise, Visage went on to co-host 'The RuPaul Show,' and DJ in Los Angeles.
Idalis De Leon went on to be a MTV VJ, and an actress.
