    His first name is feminine.

    His small stature earned him the nickname 'Stumpy.'
    He was passed over by his preferred school, the University of Southern California, who felt he was too small for their program's style of play.
    Despite his career numbers with the team, he is the least known of the Lakers franchise greats.
    He sat out the first four games of the 1975-76 season to protest his contract.
    His tenure with the Jazz was considered a disappointment in contrast to his tenures with the Lakers and the Suns.
