Why he might be annoying
He was responsible for sending civilian Jews to concentration camps, where they were exterminated.
After World War II, he escaped by hiding out.
He claimed, as other Nazi war criminals did, he was just following orders.
He was caught in Buenos Aires Argentina by the Mossad-Israeli Secret Service (May, 1960).
Despite Argentina's objections and demands to release Eichmann, Israel refused and eventually tried him as a war criminal (April 11, 1961).
He was found guilty of war crimes against humanity and sentenced to death (December 1961).
He smoked.
Why he might not be annoying
His trial opened eyes and documented the Holocaust.
He was hanged, at 56, in Israel (May 31, 1962).
