Why she might be annoying
She was a drug user and became a prostitute to support her addictions.
She was in and out of mental hospitals.
She gave Andy Warhol a transcript of her play, 'Up Your Ass,' to produce.
When Warhol didn't produce it or give her script back, she began to blame all of her problems on him.
She shot Warhol as he entered a studio, and attempted to kill two other people at the scene (June 3, 1968).
Warhol survived the shooting but never fully recovered.
She spray-painted her bullets silver, believing Warhol was a vampire.
After being released from jail, she harassed Warhol over the phone and was arrested again (1971).
Why she might not be annoying
She turned herself into police after shooting Warhol.
She was sexually abused by her father, which probably caused her hatred for men.
Her parents divorced and at age 15 she became homeless.
Despite being homeless, she managed to finish high school and earn a psychology degree.
She is regarded as a hero of the feminist movement.
Her story inspired the 1996 film, 'I Shot Andy Warhol.'
