The Resume

    Born in Vancouver, Canada
Andrew 'Drew' Alfred Scott (born April 28, 1978)
Jonathan Silver Scott (born April 28, 1978)
Co-founded Scott Real Estate, Inc. (est. 2004)
Co-hosts on the popular HGTV series 'Property Brothers'
Co-founders and executive producers of Scott Brothers Entertainment
Various assorted HGTV projects have included 'Buying and Selling,' 'Brother vs. Brother,' 'Property Brothers: At Home,' 'My Dream Home,' and 'Property Brothers: at Home on the Ranch'

Why they might be annoying:

Their older, non-twin, brother - JD Scott - lives in their shadow.
They were competitive bagpipers as kids.
They each held years-long stints as underwear models.
They have made a bid to break into the country music industry.
First-time viewers tend to mistake them for a gay couple (who just happen to be almost identical?)
Some of their characteristic ribbing of each other comes off as a little scripted.
They lost to 'Kitchen Cousins' Anthony Carrino and John Colaneri on a special HGTV-themed episode of Family Feud.
They are textbook examples of 'pretty boys' (Drew being 'the prettier of the two').
They were both aspiring actors (who played bit parts in shows like Smallville and X-Files) before moving into the more narrow 'tool-man' entertainment medium.
Jonathan was involved in widely-publicized incident at a bar in Fargo; footage made available showed a bouncer putting him in a headlock before ejecting him from the bar (Jun. 2, 2016).

Why they might not be annoying:

They have a refreshingly close relationship for siblings.
They started their first business at the age of seven (making hangers out of nylon).
They flipped their first house at the age of seventeen.
They're usually written off as Beverly Hills gym rats, but they grew up on their parents' ranch and horse farm in a small town outside of Vancouver; Maple Ridge.
They are card-carrying members of the International Brotherhood of Magicians.
They are active with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, World Vision, and Artists For Peace & Justice.
At several points they worked as professional clowns, entertaining sick kids at hospitals.
They are Second-degree Black Belts and won several Canadian National Championships.
They won the Canada-based Leo Award for Best Hosts in a Info-Lifestyle Series, for Property Brothers (2012).
They made cameos in the interactive music video for Bob Dylan's 'Like a Rolling Stone,' lip-syncing the lyrics to the song (2013).
Their sizable female following garnered them record crowds on their visit to Mall of America, second only to One Direction.
They make for the perfect comedy duo, with Drew in the straight man part (the serious 'real estate agent') and Jon in the funny man role (the messy 'contractor').
