Older brother of Clyde Barrow and member of the Barrow Gang with Bonnie and Clyde
Married Blanche Caldwell (his third wife) July 2, 1932
Died three days after a shootout with law officials at age 28
Portrayed by Gene Hackman (Blanche portrayed by Estelle Parsons) in the 1967 film 'Bonnie and Clyde'

Why he might be annoying:

He went from stealing roosters and cars to bank robbery and murder.
When he walked off a work farm for auto theft Blanche convinced him to turn himself in to complete his sentence (talk about 'whipped').
Blanche correctly predicted that if he went to visit his younger brother after his parole he would get sucked into criminal activity.
Of the nine law enforcement officials killed by Bonnie and Clyde, he was in on three of the murders.

Why he might not be annoying:

He, Clyde and their six siblings grew up in poverty.
One of the twin sons he fathered with his first wife died in infancy.
Though he took two bullets to the head and had half his forehead and some brain matter blown off, it took three agonizing days for him to die.
He is buried next to his brother in Dallas.
