Why he might be annoying
Despite his dominance, he has not been given as much attention as other tennis players on the ATP tour.
He usually looks unkempt.
He has his own fragrance (from a tennis player? Ewww, gross!).
After he won Wimbledon, he was given a milking cow as a gift.
Like most professional tennis stars, he quit school at an early age (sixteen).
Why he might not be annoying
He is unpretentious.
His victory over Pete Sampras in the 2001 Wimbledon, ended Sampras' 31-game winning streak.
He was the first man in 16 years to win three of the four Grand Slam stages (2004). He did so without the benefit of a coach.
He stayed in the Olympic Village in Athens unlike other millionaire Olympians.
He carried Switzerland's flag during the 2004 Olympic opening ceremony.
He speaks fluent German, French, and English.
