    (October 22, 1811-July 31, 1886)
    Also known as Ferenc Liszt
Works include 'Liebestraume No. 3 (Dreams of Love) in Ab Major (piano solo),' 'Mephisto Waltz No. 1 (piano solo),' 'Un sospiro (A sigh) - one of the Concert Etudes, Etude No. 39 (piano solo),' 'La Campanella (piano solo, the third of the Grandes Etudes de Paganini),' '12 Transcendental Etudes (Prelude, Molto Vivace, Paysage, Mazeppa, Feux Follets, Vision, Eroica, Wilde Jagd, Ricordanza, Allegro Agitato Molto, Harmonies du soir, and Chasse-niege,' 'Piano Sonata in B minor, 'Piano Concerto No. 1 in E-flat Major,' 'Piano Concerto No. 2 in A Major' and 'Nuages gris (Grey Clouds)'

Why he might be annoying:

He was shipped off to Vienna, Austria to study music so quickly he never learned how to speak his native Hungarian, something he deeply regretted.
He suffered from depression and quit music from his late teens to his early 20's.
He gave piano lessons to the great virtuoso Hans von Bülow, who eyed his illegitimate daughter Cosima and ended up marrying her (1857).
He hung out with fellow composers Frederic Chopin, Robert Schumann, and Richard Wagner, the latter of whom took a liking to his newly divorced daughter and married her (1870).
He was a devout Catholic and personally repulsed that his supposed buddy became his new son-in-law, but continued to back Wagner's music.
Shortly after Queen Victoria gave him a bust of herself as a present, he developed dropsy (compounded after a doctor allowed him to drink his daily bottle of brandy), and died of lung congestion (1886).

Why he might not be annoying:

At age 12, he gave a piano recital that earned him a kiss from attendee Ludwig Van Beethoven.
At age 14, he gave a personal recital for King George IV.
His father, his greatest influence and admirer, died when he was 15.
In 1944, he was universally regarded as the world's greatest pianist and wrote 6 songs with words by Victor Hugo.
After he turned 36, he never again accepted a fee for performing concerts.
His son Daniel died at age 13 (1859).
His daughter Blandine died giving birth (1862).
At age 60 a young seductress, Olga Janina, tried to murder him and herself, but failed.
At age 70 he tumbled down a flight of stairs and never fully recovered.
He wrote 19 Hungarian Rhapsodies. The second Hungarian Rhapsody is known to Tom and Jerry fans as the musical piece in the cartoon 'The Cat Concerto.'
