    Born in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada
    Played for the Boston Bruins (1927–47)
    Head coach for the Boston Bruins (1945–49)

Why he might be annoying:

    He earned his nickname from speaking with a lisp.
    During a heated argument, he knocked out a referee with one punch (1937).
    He suffered a severed tendon in a game, which some felt would have became career ending.
    He resigned as the Bruins head coach, as he had difficulty trying to coach his old teammates.
    He attempted a career in politics in the years following his retirement from hockey.

    He was able to play both the forward and defense positions.
    He was a member of the Bruins first Stanley Cup winning team.
    He was the first living person to be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame.
    He, along with Cooney Weiland and Dutch Gainor, formed 'The Dynamite Line' for the Bruins during the late 1920's.
    He and Eddie Shore formed a strong defensive tandem for the Bruins in the 1940's.
    He was the first player in NHL history to play for 20 seasons.
