The Resume

    (November 25, 1963- )
    Born in Youngstown, Ohio
Quarterback for the Cleveland Browns (1985-1993), Dallas Cowboys (1993) and Miami Dolphins (1994 - 1995)
Was the quarterback in college for the Miami Hurricanes
Selected to the Pro Bowl (1988)
Holds the NFL record for most consecutive pass attempts without an interception (308) and the NFL Playoff record for most passing yards in a game (489)
Is a part-owner of the Florida Panthers

Why he might be annoying:

From listening to him these days, one would assume he sounds drunk. This especially came to light after he was interviewed for an ESPN documentary on the glory years of football at the University of Miami.
He filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2009, which a few months later changed to a Chapter 7 liquidation.
There was a complicated scenario as he entered the NFL draft, since he wasn't set to graduate until after 1985's regular draft. He promptly signed with the Browns after graduating in June of that year, making himself eligible for the supplemental draft.
As the quarterback of the Miami Hurricanes, he was on the losing end of Doug Flutie's famous hail mary and Frank Reich leading the then-biggest comeback in college football history.
    He has been divorced.

Why he might not be annoying:

Then-Browns coach Bill Belichick benched him, then released him during the 1993 season in spite of the team being in first place at the time of his release. Fans would show support by showing up in masks of him, as the Browns would lose most of their remaining games. He would then end the season with a Super Bowl ring as Troy Aikman's backup with the Dallas Cowboys.
While with the Miami Dolphins, he came up with the idea of Dan Marino's famous 'fake spike' against the New York Jets.
At Miami, he double-majored in economics and finance, graduating in only three years.
He is very friendly when it comes to signing autographs.
He regularly hosted a charity golf tournament at the Tanglewood Country club in Bainbridge Township, Ohio.
