Why he might be annoying:

He spells his name with an extra 'n.'
He hosted a show in New York called 'Monkey Butt Sex.'
He makes fun of musicians he doesn't like, which is a no-no for most newscasters.
He has had a mohawk.
He has several tattoos.
When he does news bites for MTV2, he almost always does the hand signal (the devil's horns).
He looks like Curly's son.
He seems unhappy when he interviews anybody that isn't in the hard rock genre.

Why he might not be annoying:

He is a welcome change from the deadpan facial expressions of Kurt Loder.
He isn't afraid to view his points.
He is a hard rock fan.
He plays drums.
On his first day as a reporter for MTV, he was forced to ask bands from Ozzfest 2000 what they felt about BackStreet Boy A.J. and his recent stint in drug rehab.
