Why he might be annoying
His testimony helped O.J. get away with a double homicide.
In the Phil Spector case, he was accused of tampering with evidence by removing an object, reportedly a piece of fingernail, from the body of victim Lana Clarkson.
The 'Famous Cases' section of his website consists of one or two paragraph teasers followed by 'Purchase Dr. Lee's book to learn more about this case.'
He is overly fond of trotting out the 'You all look alike to me' joke while talking to white people.
Why he might not be annoying
When he was eleven, the family fled China for Taiwan and his father drowned when his ship sank (the rest of the family was on a different ship).
He was the youngest police captain in Taiwanese history.
His testimony helped convict Richard Crafts, who had tried to dispose of his wife Helle via woodchipper.
Simpson prosecutor Christopher Darden said, 'I'm not sure I could even name another criminalist of his stature.'
