She's been called the 'Bob Knight of women's hoops' due to her screaming at referees and players.
Many compare her accomplishments in the women's game with counterparts in the men's game (such as Dean Smith), even though the styles between the genders are way different.
Why she might not be annoying
She started coaching Tennessee's women's team when she was just 22.
She won six championships, more than any other college women's coach.
She won more times and been to more Final Fours than any other NCAA Division I coach, men's or women's.
She's been so successful, she's been offered coaching jobs with men's teams.
She likes to cook and invites opposing teams over for barbecues.
She is an inaugural member of the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame (1999).
She had to deal with the unfortunate maiden name, Pat Head.
