The Resume

    (March 2, 1990- )
    Born in Vicksburg, Mississippi
    Cornerback
Played for the New England Patriots
Signed with the Patriots after going undrafted in the NFL Draft (May 2014)
Famous for his interception at the goal line with 20 seconds left in Super Bowl XLIX, virtually assuring the Patriots their 28-24 victory over the Seattle Seahawks (Feb. 2, 2015)
Became the first undrafted rookie ever to make a winning interception in a Super Bowl

Why he might be annoying:

He originally wanted to be a barber.
He was nicknamed 'scrap' and 'strap' by his teammates.
He was kicked out of Hinds Community College in his Freshman year for 'undisclosed reasons.'
He originally wasn't even part of the Patriots' championship game plan.
When asked to comment later on the interception, he said 'I just had a vision that I was going to make a big play.'
Patriot fans who initially ignored him later obnoxiously worshiped the ground he walks on.
He declined to make public statements about the #Deflategate controversy, even though fans used his interception to claim that the issue was dead-in-the-water because of it (this just in - it wasn't).
When the Patriots appeared on the South Lawn at the White House, President Obama called him out during his speech, joking 'he’s so small you can’t even see him!'
He botched his line when he appeared alongside Julian Edelman and Josh Duhamel at the Grammy Awards, still not speaking after Edelman nudged him to indicate his cue. He later grabbed the Grammy envelope from Duhamel, making a corny 'interception' joke in the process (Feb. 8, 2015).
He was benched by Bill Belichick after he was late for the first practice of organized team activities for the summer, leading to the NFLPA to investigate the Patriots for a potential CPA violation (Jun. 10, 2015).

Why he might not be annoying:

He handed Russell Wilson his lunch in sheer, unadulterated ownage.
He was a solid player in High School, averaging 5 tackles per game as a senior.
He worked at Popeye's after leaving Hinds Community College, describing the experience as 'life changing.'
He made the league minimum rookie salary and signed with no bonus.
His role in the Patriots' Super Bowl win legitimately surprised even diehard fans who were busy paying attention to heavyweights like Rob Gronkowski and Jimmy Garoppolo.
Tom Brady allegedly gave him the 2015 Chevy Colorado truck given to him as part of his MVP award.
He volunteers his time to various charities in and around the New England area.
He was nominated for a 2015 ESPY for Best Play of the Year, losing out to Odell Beckham Jr.
He was only late for the team's first practice of the season because he missed a flight cancelled due to inclement weather.
