He is good friends with the band members of Spin Doctors and played harmonica and background vocals on some of their albums.
After his heart attack, he was forced to undergo an angioplasty and he is now much skinnier.
He had to cope with the death of Blues Traveler's bassist, 'Bobby Sheehan.'
He and his band appear in end of the movie 'Kingpin.'
