TV Reality Show Contestant

The Resume

    Based in Merrick, New York
Kindergarten/TESOL (English as a second language) teacher
Eliminated in sixth duel on Survivor South Pacific (second exiled)

Why she might be annoying:

‘There’s always an advantage being from New York.’
She is peeved by people who forget to remove price stickers from the bottoms of their shoes.
She compares herself to Palau’s Stephenie as she considers herself strong and outspoken.
Her mocking of the ‘dragon warrior’ pose tipped off Coach instantly that ‘we’re temporary players.’
Unimpressed with watching the nerd-herd behavior of the girls on the Ometepe, she interviewed telling her daughter, ‘You do not behave like that. You think for yourself. You question everything.’ (Look where it got you, rocket scientist!)
She considers herself a born leader.
Jeff’s first impression of her involved having a beer together.
Editors had to blur her mouth when she realized Upolu was going to lose the first immunity challenge; she was exiled in a 4-3-1-1 decision that affected none of the male players.
When Rick rooted for her in the duel with Elyse, she responded by looking at him and scratching her nose – with her middle finger.
She was the unsuspecting player in Ozzy’s scheme to get himself voted off to Redemption Island, win the duel (he did, easily), and go back into the game giving the Savaii the numbers.

Why she might not be annoying:

In her audition tape, she ‘told the casting people that they suck at their job and should be fired’ (referring to the casting of the two quitters in the Nicaragua cycle).
She does not like lazy people or diva types (though both are a Survivor hallmark).
She regards Emiliano (‘Emilio’) Zapata as an inspiration.
Even before the clue alluded to after the first immunity challenge, she used the cover of a firewood hunt to go searching for the hidden idol — which had Coach on high alert.
She was Stacey’s only friend and ally in the early Upolu days.
Although she failed to return to the game, she left a memorable impression upon viewers of the South Pacific season (joking about her buff exploding in the fire and regarding her exit as a 40th-birthday gift).
