Why he might be annoying
During the filming of 'Any Given Sunday,' a fake fight with LL Cool J turned ugly when LL hit him a bit too hard. He decided to fight back.
He reported LL to the police.
He took creatine to pump up for 'Any Given Sunday.'
He and his sister were arrested at Harrah's Casino in New Orleans, when they refused to show ID to security officers, shouted profanities and refused to leave. When police arrive his sister resisted arrest. His sister hit the cop in the face with the handcuffs he was trying to put on her (April 26, 2003).
Why he might not be annoying
He was adopted by his grandmother, which makes him his mother's brother.
He studied classical piano at Juilliard.
He was such a good comedian in school that his second grade teacher would reward the class by letting him tell jokes.
He played the piano in all the musical scenes in 'Ray.'
He is the first black actor to be nominated for two Oscars in the same year.
