Their motto every season is 'Cup or Bust.'
They were spoiled by the Avalanche winning the Stanley Cup in its first year in Colorado.
They relentlessly booed and heckled Todd Bertuzzi following his on ice hit which broke Steve Moore’s neck.
Many of them proudly display ‘Red Wings Suck’ bumper stickers on their cars.

Why they might not be annoying:

They watched Hall-of-Fame defenseman Ray Bourque win his only Stanley Cup on home ice.
As of 2006, they sold out every home game since relocating from Quebec City.
They waited thirteen years for the NHL to return to Colorado after their first team, the Rockies, became the New Jersey Devils (1982).
Their tax payer money was not used to build the Pepsi Center, which was privately financed.
